Destination management company set up
Ready to increase Oman’s share of the region’s MICE business, Michael Crawley has set up the Destination Management Company, Ejabyah Management.

Ejabyah, Arabic for positive, is Michael’s approach to business and together with his team’s imaginative outlook on projects, offers the very best in incentive ideas. Michael has close to 15 years experience in hotels and events management and brings creativity and innovation to incentive and team-building programmes in the Sultanate.

American Express in deal with Thomas Cook
American Express and Thomas Cook announced an agreement that will see the high-street travel agent offering its customers American Express travel money products for the first time. As part of the agreement, Thomas Cook will sell the new American Express Travellers Cheque Card through its branches, its call centres and via the company’s website. In addition, from January 2006, Thomas Cook will distribute American Express Travellers Cheques making it one of the largest sellers of American Express Travellers Cheques globally.

NanoTravel guide launched
NanoTravel.com, a compact and highly-researched website for the busy traveller who wants focused, current and upscale information when deciding where to stay and where to meet in the world’s major cities, has been launched. The NanoTravel.com NanoGuides take the pain out of researching, collecting and filtering information to the world’s top 20 business destinations. A subscription of just $100 a year secures access to a continuously updated service providing news and information.

Bringing the world together
