The Sheraton Dubai Hotel & Towers, a Dubai landmark, aims to tap the growing Mediterranean market in its debut at this month's Mediterranean Travel Fair in Egypt.
"We hope to establish new contacts and strengthen relationships with present contacts, especially those from the Mediterranean region," said the hotel's public relations manager Elena Mendez. "Through our hotel`s exposure at the fair, we hope that it will increase business from the Mediterranean countries." Sheraton Dubai Hotel & Towers which has been welcoming business and leisure travellers for the past 22 years, is situated on the bank of the Dubai Creek, and is within walking distance from the main commercial and shopping districts, the Dubai Gold market, the Creek Golf and Yacht Club. "The hotel has been undergoing controlled and phased renovation for the past two and a half years," said Mendez. The hotel has renovated and enlarged all hotel guest rooms including the Abjary royal suite and Habari and Rasha Presidential suites as part of the programme. "We also saw the addition of a new Creek-view Italian restaurant which makes the most of our enviable position and in April, saw the relocation of the hotel's renowned Ashiana restaurant, which serves North Indian cuisine," Mendez said. "The hotel is also scheduled to open a new state-of-the-art conference centre in October." Sheraton Dubai Hotel & Towers offers a full range of facilities for both business and leisure travellers besides some of the best fine dining outlets in the emirate. All guestrooms include panoramic windows with spectacular views of the Creek.
