Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza …

FOUR Seasons has opened a new hotel in Cairo, making a landmark on the Nile.

The contemporary 366-room hotel, is conveniently located in the heart of the city’s elite Garden City district. “With the opening of our second hotel in Cairo, we are offering our guests two completely distinct experiences on opposite sides of the Nile,” said Wolf Hengst, president, worldwide hotel operations, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. “Our first property, which opened in 2000, has an intimate and residential atmosphere while the new hotel is much more contemporary in design and feel.”
Boasting spectacular views of the Nile on one side and the centuries-old Citadel on the other, Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza offers a prestigious new address for both business and leisure guests. Situated amidst the business and diplomatic district, it is also ideally located for access to the city's many ancient monuments and areas of cultural importance.
The airy, open concept spaces of the lobby are indicative of the contemporary design found throughout the hotel. Silk wall coverings and curtains in warm tones of pale green, taupe and beige, modern chandeliers of hand blown glass and contemporary artwork from around the world create a distinctly fresh atmosphere.
The hotel's 78 spacious suites and 288 large guest rooms are equally contemporary in design, with shades of taupe or teal complimented by light woods. Many of the rooms feature private, furnished, outdoor terraces, perfect for relaxing or dining al fresco.
The hub of activity within the hotel will centre around its seven dining venues, each offering specialties from different parts of the world. Its Mediterranean, Cantonese, Italian and seafood restaurants feature modern interpretations of authentic dishes. Casual meals, cocktails and refreshments can be enjoyed at each of the three lounges within the hotel.
In contrast to the activity level around the restaurants is the fifth floor, which is entirely dedicated to the art of well-being and relaxation. Here guests will find the city's largest Spa and Wellness Centre, offering a variety of treatments including some inspired by ancient Egyptian beauty rituals.
Adjacent to the spa is an expansive outdoor terrace, overlooking the Nile.  With three swimming pools, a pool bar and grill, a dedicated children's play area and several private pool cabanas, the terrace is a relaxing place to unwind.
