Jelmini takes charge


Thierry Jelmini has been appointed general manager of Le Meridien Luxor hotel in Egypt which is set to open at the end of this year.

Jelmini brings more than 25 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry to the hotel, said Aly Abdel Aziz, senior vice president operations for Le Meridien Hotels and Resorts Middle East.

The new general manager has worked at a wide variety of Le Meridien properties worldwide including Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Monaco, French West Indies, Gabon, Liberia, Togo and Congo.

The new Le Meridien features 302 well-appointed rooms.
