GCC residents are being offered a wheel deal by Sands Hotel Abu Dhabi and Fast Rent A Car this summer.
The summer package includes a single room accommodation and a Group B car rental from Fast Rent A Car for Dh290 ($79). There is a Dh50 supplement for double room occupancy. The package which is valid until September 30, offers insurance and unlimited mileage for the car. The car can be picked up upon arrival at Abu Dhabi airport or Dubai airport. "The guest will travel in the comfort of the air-conditioned car, will not feel the heat of the sun and the heat of the price, and will surely arrive at the Sands Hotel in comfort," said Sands Hotel general manager Majeed Khalil. Guests will also pay a reduced rate of Dh 125 per person sharing a twin room. Sands offers an extensive range of business and leisure facilities including secretarial assistance, roof-top swimming pool, health club, a Chinese massage parlour and a beach club. The hotel, which is part of the Al Diar Hotels and Resorts, has a wide choice of dining and entertainment outlets. Sands also caters for meetings and banquets from 10 to 1,000 people. And in another special offer, the hotel offers an upgrade to Club Sands for an additional Dh100 over the room rate. The offer is valid until December 31. Meanwhile, Al Diar's other hotels in Abu Dhabi are also offering special summer deals. The Al Diar Gulf Hotel and Resort and Al Diar Jazira Hotel and Resort are offering special rates of Dh130 and Dh115 respectively per person on twin-share basis. The group's city properties, Al Diar Regency and Al Diar Dana have lined up attractive rates at Dh 105 and Dh 100 per person, twin share, respectively. Al Diar Mina has a bumper offer of just Dh85 while guests will pay a reduced tariff of Dh 125 at the Al Diar's newest property, the Al Diar Palm Hotel.
