Sofitel City Centre rides high in 2003

The Sofitel City Centre hotel in Dubai has had a successful 2003. 

“Regardless of the two months of crisis period due to Sars and the Iraq conflict, earlier in the year, the hotel results will be even better than the pervious year. The introduction of six new executive suites and presidential suite this year contributed to the success, introducing a new market segment to the hotel,” said a hotel spokesperson.

“The hotel’s brand image in the region is getting stronger and therefore the future business looks very strong. The IMF event gave Dubai an international profile and we anticipate other events will follow.” 
The Hotel is offering special Ramadan packages for UAE residents that include Iftar, Suhoor or breakfast, exclusive shopping discount card and Disney gifts for kids. 
Packages are also available for visitors from outside the UAE.
The hotel offers 318 rooms, including 15 suites, as well as 112 fully-serviced apartments. Six international restaurants will have something to please every taste and a modern heath club with roof-top swimming pool. 
Sofitel is adjoined to Deira City Centre shopping complex with over 250 shops, services and family entertainment all within a short stroll away.   
The hotel has a strong business clientele due to its central location, executive floors and business centre. 
During weekends and holiday periods the hotel caters to families and leisure travellers. The adjoined shopping centre is attractive for visitors featuring shops, cinema, entertainment and bowling centre.
The hotel is taking part in WTM and will be showcasing the Sofitel brand image and the benefits of the hotel location.
“The WTM is important to the hotel to have an international presence and to build business relationships with travel trade partners,” said the spokeperson.
