Emarat Group of the UAE is considering a joint venture with Canada-based World Automotive Group (WAG) in the car rental business.
Both Emarat and WAG are working on the new proposed venture depending on a feasibility study which will be commissioned soon, WAG chairman Amin Kadrie said.
The Canadian firm has the expertise and experience required in this field and has been running a similar service in the GCC countries.
WAG operates in Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman and the UAE.
Emarat will offer, as part of the joint ventures, its stations to facilitate the car rental project, said Kadrie.
