Two contemporary new Crowne Plaza hotels bristling with state-of-the art facilities have opened in the UK and in France, in time for Middle East travellers looking for a getaway destination during Eid Al Adha.

The Crowne Plaza Marlow, in the heart of England's Thames Valley, is set in landscaped gardens and is within reach from Heathrow Airport and located for excursions to Windsor Castle, Legoland Windsor, Henley-on-Thames and Oxford.

Its lakeside location provides the setting for weddings and romantic getaways, while all 168 luxurious en-suite bedrooms have been designed in keeping with business travellers' requirements.

They feature workstations equipped with high-speed Internet connections including ISDN. Six meetings rooms, a large function room, and a sub-divisible space for up to 400 delegates offer a flexible arena for conferences and smaller meetings.

Leisure and spa facilities include a 9,500 square foot centre with pool, outdoor hot and cold tubs overlooking the lake, aerobics and dance studio, gym and beauty centre.

The Crowne Plaza Lille Euralille, on the French-Belgian border, is ideally situated for business and leisure travellers, being directly opposite Lille Europe International train station and 10km from the Lille Lesquin airport.

All 120 rooms at the Crowne Plaza Lille Euralille are furnished with modern amenities, including in-room computer connection facilities, and there are five meeting rooms, a business centre and fitness suite with saunas.

Special 'Weekend' packages are available at both the Crowne Plaza Lille Euralille, France from £38.50 per person per night and the Crowne Plaza Marlow, starting from £87.50 per person per night.
