The ExCeL venue and destination will host Creative Quarter's Xmas Fair alongside World Travel Market 2002, taking place at ExCeL from November 11-14, 2002.
Situated on Royal Victoria Square, just outside ExCeL's west entrance, the WTM Xmas Fair will include over 100 high quality stands, offering everything from art, sculpture, fashion and footwear, ceramics and jewellery, to exclusive 'Steiff' teddy bears, high quality children's wear and many other gifts. The WTM Xmas Fair will also feature an international food court and relaxation area, serving hot and cold food from across the globe, including Chinese, Thai, Indian, Moroccan, Creole, as well as soups, crepes, organic veggie burgers, chocolates, sweets and cakes. A 25ft bar will serve drinks from around the world with traditional mulled wine also available. In addition there will be an exhibition displaying art and showcasing films from some of London's leading fringe artists. Performing artists, including Santa Claus and Tinkerbell will provide entertainment throughout the event and visitors can take a break from Christmas shopping in the "healing quarter", where traditional on-site massages, Indian head massages, reiki and reflexology will be some of the treatments available.
