How to get to ExCeL

The easiest way to get to ExCel from most west-end London locations is to take the Jubilee Line to Canning Town and change onto the Docklands Light Railway (DLR). It is then only two stops to Custom House, the station for ExCel. The Jubilee line, which will operate trains every 2.5 minutes, links with all the other underground lines.

DLR will operate a four-minute peak service, which will be reduced to a two-minute peak service, pending the successful introduction of 24 new trains, which the company hopes will be fully operational in time for World Travel Market. Each train has a capacity for 400 passengers and will loop between Canning Town and Custom House for ExCeL.

Customer service staff will be on hand at Custom House and Canning Town to direct passengers.

Recognising that at peak periods, demand for DLR services will be high, a fleet of 50-seater coaches will be used to provide alternative transport through to Canning Town from ExCeL, a short five-minute journey, from which one can take the Jubilee Line into the west-end of London.
