Marriott Marquis Dubai at Jewel of the Creek has added two key figures to its leadership team. Fredrik Reinisch has been appointed as the new General Manager. He brings more than 20 years of experience to this role. Steven Johnston has been appointed as the new Entertainment Officer. 

 

New Chief Product & Technology Officer

Andrew Jordan has been appointed as Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) at Travelport. He brings to Travelport more than 25 years of experience in digital transformation and large-scale technology platform leadership. Jordan most recently served as Chief Technology Officer at Element Materials Technology.

 

Aguila to lead Hyatt’s all-inclusive

Hyatt has appointed Javier Aguila as President, Inclusive Collection, in addition to his current role as Group President, EAME, overseeing Hyatt’s Europe, Africa and Middle East region. In his expanded role, Aguila will oversee all aspects of Hyatt’s global all-inclusive business.

 

Kisawa Sanctuary appoints CEO

Pioneering hospitality brand, Kisawa has appointed Ayman Gharib as CEO. Recognised for his strong leadership and professional dedication, Gharib brings with him over 25 years of experience. His most recent role was Vice President of Operations for Raffles & Fairmont Middle East.

 

Boutique Group announces CEO

Boutique Group has appointed Christoph Mares as the new Chief Executive Officer. Prior to this, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. With over 25 years' experience, Mares was also the COO for Emaar Hospitality Group.

 

Economou promoted to Regional GM

IHG Hotels & Resorts recently promoted Philipp Economou to Regional General Manager for Oman, Luxury & Lifestyle – Qatar and Bahrain. He brings over 27 years of experience in operations. Economou joined IHG in 1995 and has since built an illustrious career spanning multiple continents.

 

Park Hyatt Dubai gets a new DOSM

Park Hyatt Dubai has recently promoted Teegan Deck to Director of Sales and Marketing. She joined the property last year as Resort Director of Marketing and Communications. Hailing from Australia, Deck brings over 15 years of experience in luxury hospitality to her role.

 

Kempinski Hotels announces senior leadership positions

Kempinski Hotels has announced a new executive leadership team that will be tasked with developing and repositioning the luxury hotel group. Gordon Drake has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, he held the position of CEO for The Doyle Collection. A noted leader in the real estate and hospitality industry, Drake brings over 30 years of global experience. Rasha Lababidi has been appointed as the Chief Product Officer. Prior to this, Lababidi was Senior Director of Marketing at Emaar and Head of Marketing at Al Maabar International Investments. She brings over 25 years of experience to this role.
