Raffles The Palm Dubai has appointed Aaron Kaupp as the new Managing Director. Most recently, Kaupp served as General Manager of The Jumeirah Carlton Tower in London and as Regional Vice President for Jumeirah in the UK. He holds over 25 years of experience in luxury hospitality.

Ahmed Abdraboh has been appointed as Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing for Grand Mercure Dubai City and Ibis Styles Dubai Airport. He has about 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He has worked for reputed establishments like Fairmont Dubai, Ajman and Furjairah.  

ANI Private Resorts has appointed Lena Wantjer as Vice President of Sales. Wantjer, who has over 15 years of experience in the international hospitality market, joins from Ennismore, where she was Director of Sales for Dis-loyalty, a unique travel and food membership dedicated to lifestyle.

Fairmont The Palm, a premier luxury resort in Dubai, has made a series of significant appointments. Phillip Realmo has been appointed as the Director of Food and Beverage. His previous experience includes Director of Beverage and Food at W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island, Avani + Hotels in Bangkok and Thompson Hotels in Playa del Carmen. Karol Grzeskiewicz has been appointed as Chef de Cuisine at Seagrill Bistro. Wanderson Junior Da Silva has been appointed as Culinary Excellence at Frevo.

Kempinski Hotels has appointed Barbara Muckermann as Chief Executive Officer. She was previously responsible for leading Silversea Cruises. Muckermann holds more than 25 years of hospitality experience and has worked for global brands in luxury and travel.

Alexandru Ciprian Mosnegutu has been appointed as the new Director of Wellbeing at Six Senses Zighy Bay. He holds more than 10 years’ experience within the luxury wellness space. Prior to this, Mosnegutu was the Group Wellbeing & Spa Director at The Set Collection.

Swissotel Al Ghurair has appointed Wilson D’Souza as the new Executive Chef. The 21-year industry veteran has worked for luxury hotel chains like Marriott, IHG, Jumeirah, Leela, Kempinski and Accor. In his previous role, Chef D’Souza led the pre-opening project of Adagio Premium The Palm.

Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah has appointed Anzhelika Chekhlova as Director of Sales. Anzhelika brings over 11 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry and prior to this, she was the Director of Sales – Leisure at Anantara Hotels, Resorts, and Spas.
