Kandolhu, an intimate private-island resort in the North Ari Atoll of the Maldives, has entered a new chapter with a refreshed brand identity, updated website, renewed interiors and its inclusion in VERSA Hospitality’s VERSA Collection.

Measuring just 200 by 100 metres, the resort is known for its secluded island setting, natural surroundings and personalised hospitality.

The relaunch aims to highlight these distinctive characteristics while strengthening its position within the Maldives’ luxury hospitality sector.

The refreshed visual identity and website celebrate Kandolhu’s natural beauty, intimate atmosphere and individual character, while updated interiors introduce a renewed design approach that complements the island’s tropical surroundings.

The resort’s minimalist architecture, characterised by bright open spaces, high ceilings and natural wooden accents, remains central to its design philosophy.

The latest updates build on these established elements while enhancing the overall guest experience.

The relaunch also marks Kandolhu’s inclusion in VERSA Collection, the premium portfolio of distinctive, standalone resorts operated by VERSA Hospitality.

Joining the collection alongside other established Maldivian island resorts provides Kandolhu with a broader platform while retaining its independent identity and personalised approach.

Despite its compact size, Kandolhu offers a diverse culinary experience through six dining venues, including five à la carte restaurants serving Mediterranean, Japanese, Mexican-Peruvian, international and Maldivian-inspired cuisine. Vilu Bar, located along the beachfront, completes the resort’s dining offering.

Marine experiences remain another defining feature of the island. Snorkelling channels provide direct access from the shore to Kandolhu’s house reef, allowing guests to explore the surrounding marine environment.

The resort also offers access to more than 30 dive sites and protected marine areas across Ari Atoll. The surrounding waters are home to a variety of marine life, including turtles, reef sharks, eagle rays and manta rays.

Through its refreshed identity, updated interiors and new position within VERSA Collection, Kandolhu aims to strengthen its appeal while preserving the intimate character that distinguishes the island.

The relaunch represents an evolution rather than a complete reinvention, bringing together thoughtful design, diverse dining, personalised hospitality and access to some of the Maldives’ notable underwater experiences. -TradeArabia News Service
