almatar, a fast-growing Middle East online travel agency, has expanded its use of Sabre’s AI-native Mosaic platform to support business growth, improve flight servicing and enhance the traveller experience.
The expanded partnership comes a year after almatar renewed
its collaboration with Sabre and has since delivered progress in new market
expansion, NDC bookings and operational efficiency.
Using Sabre Mosaic’s APIs, NDC capabilities, shopping,
automation and analytics tools, almatar is strengthening its ability to manage
flight changes and cancellations.
The platform’s modular design has also enabled the company
to add new capabilities, including improved rebooking and servicing functions.
Sabre Mosaic Exchange and Refund and AI-native Sabre Mosaic
Flight Reshop are helping automate the process of identifying alternative
flights and calculating exchange costs, refund eligibility and disruption
waivers.
The technology is designed to reduce manual work for travel
advisors while providing faster and more reliable solutions for travellers when
plans change.
The technology is being deployed as travellers and airlines
face continued operational and geopolitical uncertainty across the region and
beyond.
almatar has also expanded into several African markets while
continuing to grow its presence in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait and Qatar.
The company has recorded strong growth in Sabre Mosaic NDC
bookings, reflecting increasing demand for modern airline retailing offers
across the region.
The expanded partnership supports almatar’s broader growth
strategy and its alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, particularly the
Kingdom’s efforts to diversify the economy and strengthen its travel and
tourism sector.
“Our continued partnership with Sabre reflects our shared
focus on innovation and growth,” said Faisal Alrajhi, CEO & Co-founder,
almatar. “By combining Sabre’s advanced technology with our ambitious vision,
we are well positioned to continue to accelerate our expansion and deliver
differentiated value to travellers across the region.”
"We’re proud to be part of almatar's growth journey. As their strategic technology partner, Sabre is helping support that momentum through continued investment in innovative technology, global reach, and the power of our enterprise platform, delivered with the agility and flexibility of a modern startup tech stack, said Ramzi Al-Qassab, Managing Director for the Middle East, Türkiye, Africa and Eastern Europe. “Together, we’re enabling innovation in one of the most dynamic travel markets globally. Our expanded agreement underscores almatar’s role as one of the region’s fastest-growing OTAs, where their unique customer-centric focus on the traveller experience is enabled through the technology driving the next phase of growth across the region’s vital travel ecosystem.” -TradeArabia News Service
