Dubai is set for a busy October, with Dubai Calendar unveiling a programme of international music, comedy and sporting events across the city.
The month will feature
major concerts, the return of Dubai Comedy Festival, professional basketball
and a series of fitness initiatives.
The World Championship
of Legends will bring former cricket stars including Yuvraj Singh, Shahid
Afridi, Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers and David Warner to Dubai International
Cricket Stadium from October 9–11.
Dubai Comedy Festival
returns from October 9–18 with performances by international and regional
comedians including Vir Das, Mo Gilligan, John Achkar, Zarna Garg and Jamie
Lever. Pepperoni Comedy Club will also mark its first anniversary with a
special show at Dubai Opera on 17 October.
Music highlights
include performances by Lebanese stars Najwa Karam and Nancy Ajram, Filipino
artists TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan,
Indian singers Falguni
Pathak and Shaan, and British pop group Blue. Electronic music acts Carl Cox,
Lost Frequencies, Sonny Fodera, Black Coffee and Adam Port will also headline
venues across Dubai.
Sports and fitness
will take centre stage later in the month, with Dubai Fitness Challenge
beginning on October 31.
The citywide
initiative encourages residents and visitors to complete 30 minutes of activity
daily for 30 days.
The same weekend will
see Pink Ladies Games and Tough Mudder at The Sevens Stadium, offering fitness
challenges for adults and children.
Meanwhile, Dubai
Basketball’s 2026–27 season continues at Coca-Cola Arena, with the team
competing in the EuroLeague and ABA League against leading European clubs.
Together, the October
programme reinforces Dubai’s position as a major destination for live
