Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority (GEA) has won a Gold Stevie Award at the 2026 Middle East & North Africa Stevie Awards, presented recently in Istanbul.
GEA received the award in the “Innovation in Workforce
Upskilling and Reskilling – Government” category, recognising its integrated
strategy to develop human capital in Saudi Arabia’s growing entertainment
sector.
The authority’s workforce development model aims to enhance
professional capabilities, improve workforce readiness and equip Saudi talent
with skills aligned with the sector’s evolving requirements.
The initiatives are designed to attract, develop and qualify
national talent while supporting the entertainment industry’s long-term growth.
The Middle East & North Africa Stevie Awards are among
the region’s leading international awards for innovation and organisational
excellence.
The seventh edition attracted more than 1,400 nominations
from organisations across 15 countries.
More than 155 international experts participated as judges,
