Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, recorded strong operational performance in August 2026, ranking among the leading airlines in the latest punctuality reports from aviation analytics providers Cirium and OAG.
According
to Cirium, Gulf Air ranked first among Middle Eastern airlines for on-time
arrivals, achieving a 92.47% rate, up from 84.93% in July. The airline also
ranked second in the Middle East and Africa category and recorded a 99.50%
completion factor across 4,422 flights.
OAG’s
August rankings placed Gulf Air second in the Middle East and fourth globally,
with an on-time performance rate of 90.35%. Its cancellation rate stood at just
0.45% across 4,421 flights.
The
results highlight Gulf Air’s operational efficiency and resilience, supported
