Emirates has expanded its Travel Rehearsal programme to Clark International Airport, helping neurodiverse children and their families prepare for air travel through a guided airport experience.
The initiative marks the airline’s second rehearsal in the
Philippines, following an event in Cebu in June.
The latest session involved 22 students, their families and
eight teachers from Hand Prints School of Progressive Education and Beyond Play
Learning Centre.
Participants completed a three-hour walkthrough covering key
travel stages, including check-in, immigration, security screening, the
departure area and a simulated boarding process.
Emirates staff and airport partners guided families through
each step, helping children become familiar with airport environments and
procedures before travelling.
The programme aims to reduce uncertainty and create a more
comfortable experience for neurodiverse passengers.
The rehearsal was supported by Clark International Airport,
border control, security teams and Emirates’ ground handling partners as part
of the airline’s commitment to accessible and inclusive travel.
Khalid Al Zarooni, Emirates' Country Manager for the
