Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) has opened up applications for the 2010 edition of its highly successful Youth Tourism Summer Camp - specially designed to give UAE national youth an insight into the emirate's vibrant and expanding tourism industry.
Following on from last year's inaugural edition, the 2010 programme has been expanded to take in 80 students, from last year's 70, and 10 additional places have been set aside for handicapped students.
The camp, which will feature a range of modules ranging from sports tourism to culture and heritage, customer service, hospitality and transport, will run for a month from June 20. The students will make field visits to Al Ain, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the Manarat Al Saadiyat exhibition centre, Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre, Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management Company, Etihad and various destination attractions.
