Superstar Flo Rida and Sean Kingston are to headline the entertainment at this year’s Gulf Air Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix.
They will be part of an eclectic line-up of events, including circus troupe Mama Africa and a number of Arabic artists, to mark the 60th anniversary of the F1 World Championship in which Bahrain is the first race of the season.
Flo Rida has received numerous honours for his work winning a People’s Choice Award in 2009 in the category Favourite Hip Hop Song for Low. He has also had several Grammy nominations.
Jamaican-American Kingston gained international acclaim at just 17 with the hit Beautiful Girl and he took the Fox Teen Choice in 2007 for Choice R’n’B Track.
The pair are due to perform on Saturday, March 13, as part of the entertainment schedule included in the price of the event’s three-day ticket.
Spectators will also have the chance to enjoy famous Arab singer Hussain Al Jasmi on March 11 and a further act is rumoured to be still in negotiations.
