
TRADER Hotel in Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi celebrated a soft opening in August.
The new hotel, to be managed by Shangri-La Asia was designed to satisfy the needs of the fast growing mid-market business travel segment by offering a comprehensive range of facilities and good service at competitive rates, according to general manager, Adrian Rudin.
Hotel manager Stephan Kapek said: “We are delighted to open this new Traders Hotel within the Qaryat Al Beri complex. The opening of Traders Hotel further compliments the existing accommodation offering of Shangri-La Hotel and gives our guests greater choice when travelling to the emirate.”
Owned by the Al Jaber Group, this is the third management agreement between Shangri-La and the group following those of Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai and Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi.
The new hotel features 301 guest rooms and suites, ranging from 32 sq m for a superior room to 70sq/m for a deluxe suite. The Traders Club executive floor features a private lounge with a dedicated concierge service, meeting space and complimentary refreshments. There is also a conference space for small to medium size meetings.
Dining options include Afya, an international restaurant serving buffet breakfast and a la carte lunch and dinner daily, as well as the lobby lounge and a pool bar.
