Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa

THE luxurious Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa is currently offering a special promotion where guests that stay for two nights receive a third night free.

All rates at this secluded romantic 42 suite retreat nestled within the 225 square kilometre desert landscape of the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve a short drive away from Dubai are on full board basis, plus two desert based activities per day – these could be a desert safari with an experienced guide, dune bashing, camel or horse riding and a falconry display. The offer is valid until September 17.

Recently the resort was recognised for the second year running as the ‘Favourite Weekend Getaway in the UAE’ at the What’s On Awards held in Dubai. It drew public opinion votes from across the UAE over 100 days of online and public balloting.

Arne Silvis, general manager, Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa received the award. In 2008 Al Maha became the only leisure hotel in Dubai to be voted one of the Top 20 of Condé Nast’s Readers’ Travel Awards in the Middle East, Africa and Indian Ocean region. The resort’s leadership and contributions to conservation have also earned it a conservation award from National Geographic and Conservation International.

Tony Williams, senior vice president, Resorts & Projects, Emirates Hotels & Resorts appreciated their loyal guests’ support. “Each guest at Al Maha, just by being there, directly contributes to our conservation and wildlife efforts, and for this we sincerely thank them.”

Each suite at the resort is set apart to guarantee privacy and offers a temperature controlled swimming pool, outdoor decks and views over the surrounding dunes towards the Hajar Mountains.

Dining arrangements are flexible, so guests can choose between restaurant dining, private dinners in their suite, or picnics in the dunes at a table laid under the stars.
