Radisson Deira set to welcome 2007

IN the stunning surroundings of Radisson SAS Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek’s outlets, guests will be treated to an extravagant evening to celebrate the dawn of the New Year, says a spokesperson at the newly rebranded hotel.

Room rates for the New Year period beginning from Dh850++ ($231++) for single or double room and are effective from December 28 to January 6, 2007.
The hotel is a great venue to bring in the New Year, says the spokesperson, with 10 restaurants, three bars and a dhow.
Among their special F&B deals are a set menu at the contemporary steakhouse, Palm Grill, that includes an amuse bouche, roast duck, Orange Cointreau sorbet, veal tenderloin and New Year sweet surprises with Mignardises and coffee or tea for only Dh399 per person or Dh699 with half a bottle of bubbly. Pianist and vocalist Johnny Little will be singing his blues creating the perfect atmosphere to dance the night away.
For an Italian twist to the New Year, the hotel is serving up a choice of two delectable set menus inclusive of half a bottle of wine for only Dh460 per person. And for those that like variety, Boulvar’s international buffet with lobster, fresh oysters, sushi, oriental Mezzeh, carving station, oven-baked salmon, meets all needs, inclusive of a half bottle of wine or a Bubbly Piccolo for only Dh399 per person.
Similar deals are also being offered at the Fish Market; at the family Chinese restaurant, The China Club, at Iranian fine dining restaurant Shabestan; and at Minato, which will offer a full buffet of Japanese delicacies and half a bottle of wine for only Dh399 per person.
The Al Mansour Dhow will be cruising into 2007 with an extensive international buffet featuring delicious dishes from around the globe while cruising along the creek.
On New Year’s Day, the hotel offers a variety of brunches from Dh120 per head.
