It’s different events, but one MICE assistant

SHAWN Pisani, director of sales and Events@Corinthia, Corinthia Hotels, has announced the addition of a dedicated travelling events assistant as the newest feature of Events@Coirnthia, a unique programme dedicated to the Meeting, Incentive, Conference and Events (MICE) market.

Corinthia Hotels is a Malta-based hospitality chain with upscale city centre and resort properties in Europe, Africa and the Mediterranean. A premier selection of these hotels feature in the events@corinthia programme.  namely, the Corinthia Bab Africa Hotel in Tripoli, Libya, the Corinthia San Gorg and Corinthia Palace hotels in Malta, the Corinthia Towers Hotel in Prague, the Corinthia Nevskij Palace Hotel in St Petersburg, the Corinthia Lisboa Hotel in Lisbon, and the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal in Budapest. The hotels in Budapest, Lisbon and Tripoli can individually handle bigger meetings than any other hotels in their respective cities, and when the expansion at the Corinthia Nevskij Palace Hotel is completed in 2007, it will be the largest conference hotel in St. Petersburg.
Pisani said, “Running an event is a major investment for any organization, and it is our business to ensure the success of that event.”
Pisani then elaborated on the travelling event assistant: “One of the Events@Corinthia promises is that every organiser of groups with 300 or more room nights will have a dedicated Events@Corinthia assistant at his side and on call 24/7. Responding to feedback from organisers, we decided to take this concept one step further. When an event organiser decides to use another Corinthia hotel in a different destination for their next event, we will send this same event assistant to the next Corinthia Hotel to assist him. This assistant, now very familiar with all the details and special requirements of that organiser, will arrive two days earlier, brief his or her counterpart, welcome the organiser on arrival, and work with the onsite Events@Corintia team for two days to ensure the organiser is comfortable with all the arrangements.”
The guaranteed 24-hour response to RFP (Requests for Proposal) by Events@Corinthia has also been recognised. According to Pisani, “The feedback from many clients is that we have provided the quickest response to every request, in detail, with all quotes guaranteed.”
