DALLAS-BASED Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, has announced the global expansion of its premier portfolio of 15 properties.

Rosewood’s development pipeline is the strongest in its history and includes several world-class hotel projects in Telluride, Costa Rica, Tahiti, Barbados and Fiji.
Leading the growth in the region is its third Saudi Arabian hotel, Corniche, A Rosewood Hotel, located in Jeddah, opening in late 2006. It will offer spectacular views of the Red Sea, an incredible roof-top pool and an array of exceptional dining.
In the United States, the group announced the addition of Inn of the Anasazi, A Rosewood Hotel in Santa Fe, New Mexico in November 2005, and in early 2006 assumed management of the award-winning CordeValle, A Rosewood Resort in San Martin, California. Both are intimate world-class retreats.
In May, Rosewood opened the Mediterranean-inspired Acqualina, A Rosewood Resort, in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida; and in July, Ty Warner Hotels & Resorts awarded Rosewood the management contract of the 500-acre San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California. The latter has has provided a legendary hideaway for discriminating travellers since it opened in 1893, including Vivien Leigh and Sir Laurence Olivier, who exchanged vows here, and John and Jackie Kennedy, who honeymooned here.
The company is set to assume management of two new US projects that will be completed in the next few years: the Rosewood Sandhill, a mile from the Stanford University campus in Menlo Park, California,  and the Mansion on Peachtree, A Rosewood Hotel, in the high-end area of Buckhead, Atlanta.
