The Savoy Sharm El Sheikh offers 406 rooms and special VIP accommodation

THE Thomas Cook Marque of Excellence award 2005 has once again been awarded to the Savoy Sharm El Sheikh, according to a hotel spokesperson, making it one of only two hotels in the city to receive it.

Thomas Cook’s Samantha Clout, says, “Out of all the five stars hotels in Sharm only two hotels including the Savoy have been awarded with the Thomas Cook Marque of Excellence award which is considered as the highest achievement award for services given from the agency to an hotel.”
This excellence award is based upon customer criteria and their recognition of a property achieving an extremely high standard for service and quality accommodation on a consistent basis for the year.
“We are naturally delighted at being awarded such an accolade,” says Peter D Gibbons, general manager, Savoy Hotels and Resorts International, “as it demonstrates our continued commitment to quality service and standards.”
The hotel recently recruited top industry experts from around the world to work towards the goal of a first independent Egyptian brand: a hotel company that incorporates the Savoy brand, five-star resorts and the city hotels, the Sierra, the 4-star all-inclusive resorts and the Royal Savoy lifestyle brand, business and resort locations, under the single banner of Savoy Hotels & Resorts Sharm El Sheikh.
Launched March 2002, the Savoy Sharm El Sheikh spreads over 200,000sqm of lush tropical foliage, waterfalls and serene surroundings and lies at the heart of the spectacular White Knight Beach, South Sinai, Egypt. Stunning in architectural design, the hotel itself boasts impeccable style: from its marble floors to high ceilings, decadent interiors through to simplistic colour themes, the Savoy Sharm El Sheikh is all about sophistication. Combining luxury in a superb location with an air of relaxation and ‘at-home’ experience, the hotel is unrivalled in the services it provides. With a total of 406 superiorly designed rooms, ranging from single, double and triple rooms to the lavish Royal Suite, the guest’s every need is catered for. Exquisite bars & lounges as well as excellent eateries, amazing pools, a dive centre, tennis courts and Arabian spa dotted around the grounds add to make the Savoy Sharm El Sheikh one of Egypt’s leading resorts to date.
Designed for the travelling VIP, the Royal Savoy is the Savoy’s ‘hotel within a hotel’ concept that sits at the heart of its extraordinary grounds and offers exquisite accommodation, privacy and the very best in customer service, says the company spokesperson. It offers 33 superior-designed rooms, six lavish suites and nine extraordinary villas available at the guests’ requests with magnificent views of the amazing gardens, pools or world-famous Red Sea. The hotel’s private villas provide guests with further comfort and privacy.
