THE Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (the Centre), the leading venue in Kuala Lumpur for meetings, conventions and exhibitions as well as incentive groups will be offering tailormade cultural awareness workshops to acquaint international organisers running events at the centre with the capital city, Malaysia, the culture, protocol and environment in which they will be working.
Titled Malaysian Culture, Protocol and Etiquette, the workshop will familiarise planners with the Malaysian cultural and economic landscape and introduce the various resources available to them.
New conferences headed to Kuala Lumpur include the World Route Development Forum 2008, hosted by Malaysia Airports with an expected 2,500 delegates from October 11 to 14; the 24th International Air Cargo Forum & Exposition 2008 (November 4 to 6, with 5,000 delegates); World Airline Entertainment Association Annual Conference and Exhibition (October 19 to 22, 1300 delegates); and the mid-year 25th World Gas Conference 2012, with an estimated 5,000 delegates.
