Dubai Consultancy Research and Media Centre (DCRMC), one of the UAE’s leading media consultancy firms and conference organisers, has joined forces with Jane’s Information Group to launch the first event of its kind in the region – the Middle East Aviation Conference.

To be held from September 18-19, 2005, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Dubai, the conference will be entitled “The impact of the A380 on the Middle East”. It will bring together world leaders in aviation technology, airport development, tourism and travel, as well as those directly working on the impact of the world’s biggest passenger airliner.
The Middle East region underpins the A380 order book to date. Emirates airline has placed the biggest order with commitments from Qatar Airways and Etihad Airways also secure. “The impact of these aircraft on the Middle East will be hugely significant,” says Ahmed Al Mansoori, president of DCRMC. “With each aircraft capable of bringing 525 passengers into the country several times a day, it’s not just the airports that have to consider how to cope, travel and tourism operators will be equally affected,” he added.
