Conrad Hotels & Resorts debuts in Germany
Hilton has unveiled Conrad Hamburg, marking the luxury brand’s debut in Germany. The 283-key property is housed within the historic Levantehaus, an Art Nouveau landmark dating back to 1912. Paying tribute to its cultural provenance, the hotel emerges as an art-filled sanctuary in the heart of Hamburg.
Conrad Hamburg features curated works by German contemporary artists, highlighted by Ada Isensee’s coloured leaded glass ceiling, visible across all floors. Guest rooms blend contemporary luxury with Hanseatic elegance, with palettes of deep blues, greys, reds and copper tones. The hotel offers 28 studios with kitchenettes, 29 suites and a Presidential Suite spanning 232 square metres with a private balcony and fireplace.
Guests will enjoy a 1,000-square-metre spa and fitness centre, set to include Hamburg’s longest indoor pool, alongside luxury treatments, sauna and steam facilities. Nine event venues, ranging from intimate boardrooms to spaces accommodating 220 guests, provide versatile options for meetings and gatherings.
Culinary highlights include GRETA OTO, a Latin American restaurant seating 110 guests with an additional 48 on the courtyard terrace. Signature dishes such as Peruvian ceviche and Brazilian beef tenderloin reflect a fusion of traditional flavours with modern techniques. La Mesa offers private dining for 12, while GRETA OTO Bar and cigar lounge extend the experience with crafted cocktails and refined social spaces.
Located on Hamburg’s Kunstmeile, Conrad Hamburg offers proximity to City Hall, the Alster lakes, HafenCity and the Elbphilharmonie, with access to Central Station and the airport.
