The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Dubai and Middle East Office has partnered with Dubai’s Esaad Committee to introduce an exclusive offering for Esaad members, providing an even greater incentive for those travelling to Thailand.

A Dubai-based initiative, Esaad is a loyalty programme launched by the General Directorate of Dubai Police and offers exclusive privileges, discounts and promotions to employees of Dubai Police.

The partnership was officially announced on the opening day of Arabian Travel Market 2019 (ATM) at a special signing ceremony in front of the Thailand stand, attended by Muna Al-Ameri, chairperson of Esaad Card Committee at Dubai Police and Supranee Pongpat, TAT executive director of the Europe, Africa, and Middle East Region.

Thailand has long been a preferred destination for travellers from the Middle East. Last year, the UAE was ranked among the top three countries in the Middle East in terms of visitors to Thailand.

Through the new partnership, Esaad cardholders will be able to take advantage of a range of discounts and offers across Thailand, including discounts on flights with Thai Airways International, offers at top shopping malls, and up to 30 per cent off at select luxury hotels. Members will also be able to indulge in the finest spa treatments at established outlets across Thailand, including Spa Hua Hin, the exclusive Oasis Spa.

Pongpat said: “We’re excited to showcase all that Thailand has to offer – from hospitals, wellness centres, luxury hotels, shopping and activities, and we’re excited to welcome even more Middle Eastern tourists to our treasured home.”
