Holiday's usually mean abandoning your diet and indulging in empty calories, well Constance Hotels and Resorts will change this perception by offering a variety of gastronomy options. Constance menus will include new nutrient-packed dishes prepared by one of Constance's brightest chefs, Michael Scioli in collaboration with the famous nutritionist Rosanna Davison, a former Miss World from Ireland.

Guests will have plenty of choices and the opportunity to indulge in delicious wholesome food with a touch of locally sourced produce at six of Constance’ luxury properties across the Indian Ocean, from Constance Halaveli and Constance Moofushi in the Maldives, to Constance Prince Maurice and Constance Belle Mare Plage in Mauritius, as well as Constance Lemuria and Constance Ephelia in the Seychelles, offering the opportunity to experience absolute luxury in an intimate and serene setting.

Every dish is served with seasonal fruits and vegetables, most of which are locally cultivated – some are even grown in the chef’s gardens, reducing the farm-to-fork distance. Mauritius, the Seychelles and the Maldives have a tradition of natural farming, in place long before modern certifications, and following this Constance Hotels and Resorts creates healthy fine cuisine.

"I was delighted when Constance reached out and asked me to collaborate as I’ve long been a fan of the brand and their approach to good food and well-being, combined with gorgeous accommodations in fabulous destinations. To know that some of my favourite nutritious recipes, such as the Good to Glow Mango Tango Smoothie or the Pineapple, Raspberry and Lime Summer Sorbet will be enjoyed by Constance’s guests is such an honour for me,” said Rosanna Davison.

Each item from the new additions has been created for a specific reason, some of which contain low calories to help maintain weight and diet, and some for energy boosting to provide all the nutrients that increase vitality and activity, while some have been crafted to enhance sleep, with protein rich in an amino acid called tryptophan that helps boost the sleep-inducing hormone melatonin.

Even bodybuilders will enjoy specific dishes that help build muscle while other dishes are dedicated to promote good moods. Guests will find detailed explanations beside each dish on the menus available at the restaurants, the Spa and in their rooms.
