Thai Airways International (Thai) is to begin flying to Abu Dhabi and Bahrain, this month.
The airline also said it would also launch flights to Xiamen, Geneva and Chittagong.
A service to Johannesburg will start next year under a joint agreement with South African Airways.
"This move is part of Thai's network expansion plan to cover key destinations around the world," airline president Kanok Abhiradee said in a statement.
"Thailand can cater to the tastes of the world."
