The global hotel operator will be showcasing its three leading hotel brands - Inter-Continental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn at the travel trade show from May 1 to 4.

The new Visa Summer "Holiday Money" Promotion incorporates two separate programmes, with a double incentive for Visa cardholders, offering guests special accommodation packages, plus a wide choice of value-added benefits.

The Summer Options and Weekender Plus programmes offer Visa cardholders the opportunity of a complimentary night's stay when making a reservation at one of the participating Inter-Continental, Crowne Plaza, and Holiday Inn hotels and resorts, in the Middle East and Africa.

Bass Hotels and Resorts, the hotel business of Bass of the UK, owns, operates or franchises more than 3,000 properties and 490,000 guest rooms in nearly 100 countries.

Currently operating 110 properties in the Middle East and Africa, the hotel operator has another 26 properties under development in the region, with many more in the pipeline.

Expansion plans include landmark openings at a number of new destinations, including the management of Inter-Continental and Holiday Inn hotels in Tunisia.

New Inter-Continental resorts will open in Taba Heights and Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt in October, while another new Inter-Continental property will open in Holy Makkah in Saudi Arabia in November.

With five Crowne Plaza hotels currently under management in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kuwait, Jeddah and Muscat, the brand's first new resort property opens in Sharm El Sheikh in June, while another Egyptian Red Sea resort property is under development at Abu Soma.
