SUMMER is upon us and it’s time to book in the right places to get maximum value. Here’s a round-up of offers and promotions from the region and around the world:

ROTANA

This summer, all Rotana properties promise guests complimentary breakfast, free wi-fi and 20 per cent discount on all services during their stay, including food and beverage, spa treatments, minibar and more. DUKES ST. JAMES, LONDON

Book three interconnected rooms for the price of two on the best available rates or book a suite and get an interconnecting room for free with Dukes in London. THE DOMAIN, BAHRAIN

UMA BHUTAN

This offer is valid for reservations of two rooms or more, perfect for families and small groups travelling to Bhutan, until September 6.

SIX SENSES ZIGHY BAY

Six Senses Zighy Bay in Oman is extending complimentary dine and stay benefits to children under 12 years when they share their parent’s pool villa for a minimum of three nights. This family-friendly package is valid until September 30, but excludes Eid holidays.

SANDY BEACH NON NUOC RESORT DA NANG VIETNAM

Vietnam’s finest beach properties managed by Centara offers a two-night package priced at VND5,500,000 ($262) for two people and valid until August 31. Two nights in a superior ocean view room are accompanied by daily buffet breakfast for two at Alamanda Restaurant, one free Vietnamese set lunch or dinner for two, a 45-minute spa treatment for two, and round-trip airport transfers. A surcharge of VND 200,000 ($9.5) per night is applied for Friday and Saturday bookings. Extension stays are available at VND2,200,000 ($105) per night, inclusive of breakfast, and all other spa treatments offer a discount of 30 per cent.

THE EASTERN MANGROVES SUITES BY JANNAH
This luxury property based in the UAE capital of Abu Dhabi offers a stay in a two-bedroom apartment for the price of a one-bedroom accommodation. Offer is valid until August 15 and includes free access to the panoramic swimming pool, the boutique gym, free wi-fi and exclusive round-the-clock butler services.

RADISSON HOTELS

Radisson Blu, Park Inn by Radisson and Radisson Royal Hotel Dubai give customers the chance to win a free night’s stay at select hotels across the UAE during July and August, when they spend Dh500 ($136) or more in restaurants across participating UAE hotels. The Dubai and Beyond campaign will give guests the chance to receive a complimentary night’s stay in one of Carlson Rezidor’s Dubai hotels, when booking a two-night stay in Radisson Blu Hotel Abu Dhabi Yas Island, Park Inn by Radisson Abu Dhabi Yas Island, Radisson Blu Resort Sharjah or Radisson Blu Resort Fujairah. THE OBEROI DUBAI

The first Oberoi hotel in the UAE offers the ‘First Time for Everything’ package as part of its first anniversary celebrations. The deal includes accommodation in a luxury suite, welcome drinks, packing and unpacking service, breakfast for two at Nine7One and two 60-minute treatments at The Oberoi Spa, the first 24-hour spa in Dubai. The anniversary offer also includes a candlelit dinner with bubbles on the private balcony of the luxury suite with views of the Burj Khalifa and a one-to-one masterclass with award-winning executive chef, Dirk Haltenhof.  Valid until December 28 this year, this offer starts from Dh2,099 ($571) per room per night, excluding municipality and tourism dirham fees and service charges.

CENTRA TAUM SEMINYAK BALI

The three-night package at this Indonesian property is applicable in any room type for up to two adults and two children, with breakfast for all, access to the fitness centre, free wi-fi, 25 per cent discount on select spa treatments at the resort’s Cense by Spa Cenvaree and two-and-a-half hours of surf lessons per day for two guests. All surfing equipment including surfboard, safety gear, board shorts and rash guard is free of charge, and insurance, refreshments, and transfer to and from the surfing school are also part of the package. One Indonesian lunch and one dinner for two adults and two children at Taum Restaurant are included. SOUTHERN SUN ABU DHABI

The Dh550++ ($150++) per night package at this recently opened hotel includes breakfast for two adults and two children at The Foundry, complimentary tickets for two adults and two children to Yas Waterworld or Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, early check-in, complimentary wi-fi and valet parking.
