ATTRAP’REVES offers a unique take on ‘glamping’ in France with its series of bubble accommodations located across the country.
Glamping is a form of camping involving accommodation and facilities more luxurious than those associated with traditional camping.
The family-run business launched in 2010, and now offers 12 bubbles across four locations: Allauch, La Bouilladisse, Puget Ville and Montagnac Montpezat.
Designed completely from recyclable materials, the bubbles offer an eco-friendly accommodation option with a twist. The low-power bubbles are inflated using a silent blower that uses the same consumption of a 55W light bulb. Even the guest’s meals are presented on a biodegradable tray.
Attrap’Reves offers four types of bubbles. Suite Chic & Design is an uncluttered cocoon furnished with contemporary white furniture and elegant fabrics. It comes with a private bathroom bubble for more comfort. The 1001 Nights bubble is an oriental atmosphere decorated in sun colours, and furnished with soft cushions and Moroccan lanterns.
Zen offers a completely transparent bubble with understated decoration enhanced by Japanese-inspired wooden furniture and tatamis and Glamour provides warm colours and a romantic atmosphere. Nature is another transparent bubble offering 360 degree immersion. This bubble brings the outside in with a natural atmosphere and grass flowerbed strewn with daisies.
Guests get to enjoy a night under the stars, with a telescope and star chart provided for each bubble. There’s also access to a private Jacuzzi, and private catering can be provided on the bubble terraces.
Some bubbles come complete with their own private shower and toilet blocks, while bubble suites come complete with an ecological ensuite facility.
While Attrap’Reves is not marketing direct to the Middle East, the company has stepped up its international efforts.
“Since this year we started to receive guests from European countries like Italy, Belgium, Germany and also England and Russia,” confirmed owner Murielle Giovansili. Attrap’Reves handles direct bookings.
