RIXOS Hotels opened its first hotel in Egypt, located in the region’s premiere beach destination, Sharm El Sheikh last month.
Rixos Sharm El Sheikh is nestled in the heart of the city, prominently set along the vast white sands of Nabq Bay. The resort provides a scenic view of the Gulf of Aqaba’s mouth, as well as Tiran Island, and it located just 22 km from Naama Bay and about 8 km from the airport.
The sprawling resort encompasses 695 rooms and suites, which include 488 elegantly furnished rooms, 70 family rooms, in addition to 137 junior suites, ten of which have private plunge pools that offer spectacular views of the Red Sea, or ‘nature’s aquarium.’
The resort boasts a large conference hall, as well as two splendid dining rooms, six à la carte restaurants, five bars, along with the famed Rixos Royal Spa. The luxurious health and beauty centre offers soothing water rituals, world-class massages, various body treatments, and skincare from a global program of traditional and contemporary methods. The ever-enticing Turkish Hamam awaits you with its mystic atmosphere, promising tranquillity and purification of both body and soul. The indulgence is not only limited to adults, however, children are invited to be entertained at Rixos’s activity-filled Rixy Club.
“Sharm El Sheikh’s reputation as a dynamic and rapidly-expanding touristic destination was among the key attributes that prompted our presence in Egypt. The travel haven is internationally recognized, which in conjunction with the strength of the Rixos brand, will result in a fruitful symbiotic relationship, benefitting both Rixos and Sharm El Sheikh”, said Basak Erel, senior vice president brand management at Rixos Hotels.
Rixos Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt is the 18th ring of the chain after Rixos Residence Bomonty Istanbul which opened in September 2012.
