
Dusit International announces the appointment of seasoned hotelier, David Shackleton, as chief operating officer. In this newly created role, Schackleton will drive the operational performance and maximization of profitability for all hotels within the group. With three decades of senior experience in the hotel industry, including VP level positions with Starwood and InterContinental, Schackleton is well poised to lead the hotels during a period of rapid growth for Dusit International.
In line with the Group’s international expansion strategy, Dusit International has made additional senior appointments including Ryan Chen, as assistant director of development for south east Asia; Andrew Shaw, director of development for the Middle East (based in Dubai) and Sunil Mathur, vice president of South Asia based in New Delhi, who will oversee the groups multiple locations coming on stream in India. Bangkok based, Rustom Vickers is responsible for overall global development while respected industry veteran, Harris Yang, is the director for development, North and East Asia, supported by Edmond Hui, newly appointed director of Techincal Services, Greater China.
