Best Western has received a major honour from the Indian travel industry. The company received the “Most Outstanding Hotel Chain 2011 - Mid Segment” award at the recent Travel and Hospitality Awards in New Delhi. In doing so, Best Western India saw off competition from several well-established and respected domestic Indian hotel brands, including ITC, Fortune and Sarovar Hotels. The award was presented to Sudhir Sinha, president & chief operating officer of Best Western India, by Dr. Nazma Heptulla, Honourable Ex Speaker Lok Sabha at a glittering awards ceremony held at The Ashok Hotel, New Delhi on February 25, 2012.
