THE Kempinski Hotel & Residences Palm Jumeirah is currently in the last phases of delivery, to meet its expected launch date of July 1, 2011, as Kempinski’s first beach property in Dubai.

Targeted at high-end travellers, Kempinski the Palm will be operated as a five-star all-suite hotel, boasting some of the most spacious accommodation in the region.

The 244 exquisite suites, penthouses and villas vary in size between 112 and 894 sq m and enjoy a living room, a state-of-the art kitchen, a minimum of one bedroom and up to five bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, there is also  an  additional terrace space, some with the extravagance of an outdoor private pool or Jacuzzi.

The classical elegant styling of the European-inspired interior design by award-winning firm GAJ, features  exclusive custom-made furniture  manufactured  by the Italian designer company Francesco Molon.

Located on the man-made island of Palm Jumeirah, the property boasts striking views either over the Palm Jumeirah lagoon and the Dubai skyline in the distance or undisturbed views of the Arabian Sea.

This elegant beachside setting is complemented with five acres of landscaped gardens, 500 m of white sandy private beach, a 1,200-sq-m free-form outdoor swimming pool including a shaded area for children, an extensive gym with state-of-the-art equipment, a magnificent pampering spa and a kids’ club and playground.

Additionally, a variety of restaurants and bars offers guests a wide range of cuisines, including Brunello Mediterranean restaurant with an Italian twist, the Beach Bar & Grill and Key West bar and lounge.

A boardroom and a meeting room cater for the business traveller, while a selection of shopping venues offers guests everything from the quintessentially necessary to the absolutely indulgent.

“Kempinski Hotel & Residences Palm Jumeirah is a unique concept in Dubai’s hospitality market for both families and couples. The remarkable privacy and space, along with direct access to the beach and excellent five-star service offers guests the experience of a life-time.  A range of tailor-made services will be available such as a personal butler, personal chef, the Palace ceremony and many more – all aimed at creating an atmosphere of luxury, relaxation and comfort,” says general manager Beat Peter.

The property will be complemented by the Emerald Palace Kempinski Palm Jumeirah Dubai, which is due to open in 2013, with the two fitting perfectly with the company’s vision of having only unique properties in its portfolio, especially in a destination such as Dubai where everything is done par excellence. This project has been one of the most successful in the UAE, achieving some of the best yield rates within properties on the Palm.

Reto Wittwer, president and CEO of Kempinski Hotels said: “Kempinski was one of the first hotel groups to announce properties on Palm Jumeirah, the spectacular man-made palm-shaped offshore development along the coast of Dubai, by Nakheel. Many announcements then followed, with big name hospitality brands and other large projects generating impressive international media attention for the real estate and tourism hotspot.”
