INVITATIONS to take part in ILTM (International Luxury Travel Market) Asia, the event dedicated to luxury travel buyers from across the Asia-Pacific region, are now open to VIP buyers and exhibitors.
ILTM Asia, which takes place in Shanghai from June 13 to 16, is exclusively created for Pan-Asian buyers, planners and designers of luxury travel to meet directly with the world’s leading luxury travel suppliers in a series of bespoke pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings.
Founded on a strict qualification process for both buyers and suppliers, ILTM Asia brings together only the very best from the global luxury travel community to this exclusive, ‘invitation-only’ event. The unrivalled ILTM Asia pre-scheduled appointment and online diary programme allows members to meet with their choice of up to 41 buyers or suppliers in 15-minute face-to-face meetings each day, maximising the use of their time at the show.
Debbie Joslin, group exhibition director, luxury portfolio at Reed Travel Exhibitions, said: “The Asia-Pacific region continues to expand rapidly, driven by strong economic growth in China and already established luxury travel markets such as Australia and Japan – the community is varied with dense areas of high-net-worth individuals from some of the regions’ most dynamic cities.
“ILTM Asia is pivotal in providing an insight into the luxury travel patterns of elite travellers from each of the Pan-Asia regions. It is also the forum to identify new trends and learn about undiscovered properties worldwide – 20 per cent of the exhibitors last year were new to the event – introducing authentic and indigenous experiences from across the spectrum of global luxury travel.”
Last year’s ILTM event in Asia delivered more than 20 per cent newly approved travel specialists. Some of the new exhibitors for 2011 already confirmed include Song Saa Private Island in Cambodia, Regent Global Holdings and The Chateau Spa & Organic Wellness Resort in Malaysia. ILTM Asia also welcomes back a host of returning exhibitors from 2010 who recognise the vital role the event plays in their business development including Maybourne Hotel Group, Abercrombie & Kent and Australia’s Wilderness Safaris.
