Sun Resorts signs up Insights in region

INDIAN Ocean-based Sun Resorts has appointed Insights as its general sales and marketing representative in the UAE and GCC to promote its properties, activities and projects and help reinforce the positioning of the group in the region.

“We are an experience-provider. Throughout our resorts,  three in Mauritius – the five-star luxury Le Touessrok, five-star Sugar Beach and four-star La Pirogue – and  one in the Maldives – the five-star Kanuhura, we strive towards giving our guests the best of travel and holiday experiences,” says Fabio Piccirillo, CEO of Sun Resorts which has offices in London, Paris and Frankfurt as well as representatives in Milan, Madrid, Moscow and the UAE.

“Sun Resorts is constantly reviewing a number of projects for its expansion in the region both in Mauritius and beyond. The vision of the company is to reinforce its position as a leading resort hotel company in the Indian Ocean. We also want to bring a greater sense of style and perfection in improving standards of excellence in the hotel industry,” adds Piccirillo.

Since 2008, Emirates has been recommending Le Touessrok to passengers as and Emirates associate hotel.

And now the exciting new Sun Resorts hotel development on the Belle Mare Peninsula, on the east coast of Mauritius, is planned to open in December 2010.
