Tuckness joins Emaar Hospitality

Emaar Hospitality Group has appointed Morgan Tuckness as its corporate director – design and technical services. She is responsible for development and design guidelines, and for the development of new-build hospitality projects. She will ensure design and technical service standards meet guidelines.

 

Gadioli joins Al Ain Rotana

Al Ain Rotana has appointed Wladimiro Gadioli as executive chef. Originally from Lombardy in Italy, he joins Al Ain Rotana from TDIC, where he was corporate executive chef of the F&B division. Chef Wladimiro brings 16 years of culinary experience to the resort’s six dining outlets, including signature Trader Vic’s.

 

Al Samahiji to head Asdal Gulf Inn

Bahraini national Hussain Al Samahiji has been appointed as the new general manager of Asdal Gulf Inn, a boutique hotel operated by Gulf Hotels Group. Before this, he was executive assistant manager with The K Hotel, also in Bahrain. Asdal Gulf Inn is an 89-room, four-star hotel, located in the Seef area of Bahrain.

 

Hilton Seychelles promotes Julita

Julita Jeremie has been promoted to the role of cluster director of human resources for all three Hilton Seychelles hotels, making her the second Seychellois female employee within the Hilton family to be given a senior position. She brings 14 years of administrative expertise to her new role and has been with Hilton since 2011.

 

Copthorne appoints Abdulrahim

Copthorne Hotel Dubai has appointed Indian national Noushad Abdulrahim as director of sales. With 15 years’ experience in hospitality and a decade of that in Dubai – he brings his considerable expertise to the role. His career includes stints at Taj Garden Retreat, Kerala and Casa Anjuna, Goa, before moving to the UAE in 2007.

 

Kerzner promotes Mukhtar to VP role

Yousif Mukhtar has been promoted to vice-president, sales and marketing for GCC, Middle East and Africa at Kerzner International. In this new role, he will be responsible for providing overall sales and marketing leadership in the GCC, Middle East and Africa to generate revenue and continue to build market awareness.

 

Jumeirah Messilah appoints new GM

Kuwait’s Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa has appointed French national Savino Leone as the hotel’s new general manager. Leone joins the Jumeirah Group from InterContinental Osaka, in Japan, where he was general manager. Prior to this, he led the pre-opening team at Crowne Plaza Doha – The Business Park, Qatar.
