Burj Rafal Hotel Kempinski Riyadh has appointed Adnan Mansour Al Essa to the position of food and beverage manager. A Saudi national, Adnan has a diploma in Hotel Management from Les Roches, Marbella, Spain, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Swiss Hotel Association.
Frederic Krueger joins Kempinski Hotel Muscat as director of sales and marketing, from Kempinski’s opening projects in Yangon and Singapore. Krueger started his career with the brand as a sales manager for Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich and has also worked with the iconic Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin.
InterContinental Regency Bahrain has appointed Philipp John Economou as the new area general manager. Economou brings more than 23 years of hospitality experience, and his first Middle East assignment was as GM of Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi. After that, he moved to InterContinental Fujairah Resort as an opening GM.
R Hotels has appointed Binu Varghese as the hotel manager of Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Jumeirah Beach Residence. Varghese will lead the 188-key property and head its overall operations and strategies. He brings in more than 20 years of hospitality experience, of sales and marketing roles.
Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City has roped in Charles E M Clark as general manager. Clark joins from Jumeirah Creekside Hotel, where he has been GM since 2013. He has been with London Hilton Park Lane, Hilton London Islington and Hilton London Heathrow Airport in directorial capacities.
