Global hotel group, Six Continents Hotels, has launched its newest package targeting business travellers to Saudi Arabia at a reception in Bahrain.
The Saudi Advantage package, which was announced at the Regency Inter-Continental Hotel to members of the travel trade in Bahrain, offers attractive accommodation options and benefits at 12 Saudi Arabian business destinations. The package provides options on room tariffs and categories, meals, services and international telephone call costs, the group said. For regional and international business travellers, Saudi Advantage offers international class accommodation at 20 Inter-Continental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn hotels and resorts in Saudi Arabia, with options which tailor the stay to financially suit guests. The Saudi Advantage follows on the success of the Business Options programme by Inter-Continental and Crowne Plaza throughout the Middle East and Africa. Saudi Advantage bookings offer significant room rate benefits, with options such as 50 per cent reductions on certain room tariffs, free daily breakfasts or 500 bonus Frequent Flyer miles and 2,000 Bonus Priority Club points, plus a number of additional attractive options. The group's properties in Saudi have extended their services to the business market significantly, with the introduction of specialist support for organisers of conferences, conventions, meeting and other corporate occasions. The facilities include permanent support from a team of professionally trained specialist staff and adaptability to stage large or small meetings and availability of comprehensive services and equipment at all. "Saudi Advantage provides a host of quality accommodation options, together with other benefits which suit the business traveller to Saudi Arabia. The basket of options and hotels available suit their needs across the country," said Chris Moloney, the group's regional vice-president, operations, Saudi Arabian Region. The hotels taking part in the programme are the Olaya Holiday Inn, Minhal Holiday Inn, and the Inter-Continental Hotel in Riyadh; the A1 Salam Holiday Inn, A1 Fau Crowne Plaza, and Jeddah Inter-Continental in Jeddah; Dal A1 Taqwa Inter-Continental, Dar A1 Hijra InterContinental, and Dar Al Iman Inter-Continental in Madinah; the Makkah Inter-Continental Hotel and Dar A1 Tawhid Inter-Continental Makkah. Near Makkah is the Taif Inter-Continental Hotel. On The Gulf coast and inland to the east, the hotels include the A1 Jubail Inter-Continental Hotel, Al Khobar Holiday Inn and Al Hamra Holiday Inn Dammam, while on the west coast is the Radhwa Holiday Inn Yanbu. The benefits will also be available at the Al Ahsa Inter-Continental Hotel in Hofuf which opens later this year. On the northern road to Jordan is the Hafr Al Batin Holiday Inn and, in the south, Abha Inter-Continental Hotel and Najran Holiday Inn.
