Dubai welcomes a new entrant to its deluxe hospitality sector this month when The Fairmont Dubai opens its doors for business.
Inside, the 394-room hotel displays a wealth of innovative concepts setting new standards in restaurant and business facilities.
These include the signature Spectrum on One multi-menu restaurant showcasing eight different cuisines; Cascades in the 135-metre atrium with a spectacular River of Light display; and The Exchange - the 2nd floor business centre incorporating a stylish grill restaurant and cigar bar as well as private work-stations, meeting rooms and every facility for communications on the move.
According to Michael Kaile, vice president and hotel general manager, guests will be 'surprised and delighted' at the imaginative use of cutting edge design in the building, displayed in every feature from restaurants to rooms, as well as the 40,000 sq ft Romanesque spa and health club.
The hotel enjoys a prime location on Shaikh Zayed road, opposite the World Trade Centre - linked by The Fairmont Walkway - and has already become a city landmark with its distinctive wind-tower design and multi-hued nightly illuminations.
