The Eastern Mediterranean International Travel & Tourism Exhibition (Emitt) aims to be the biggest tourism exchange of eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East, say organisers Ekin Promotion & Exhibition.
The expo will bring together travel and tourism industry players for four days in Turkey's major commercial centre of Istanbul. The April 4-7 exhibition has been given full support by the Turkish government and Turkish Airlines, said Ekin general manager Hacer Aydin. Turkish tourism minister Mustafa Tasar said Emitt highlighted the varied tourism attractions of the country and gave industry players an opportunity to share information on new and potential markets. Turkish Airlines which is the official carrier for the show will offer special discounts to hosted buyers, tour operators and exhibitors from overseas.
