The Bahrain International Travel Expo (BITE) is on the world events map according to Magnum Holdings founder and chairman Jamil Wafa, who paid special tribute to the major players who had made BITE 2009 so successful. These included the Culture and Information Ministry, Economic Development Board, the media, Bahrain Radio and Television Corporation, the Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority, Gulf Air, Etihad Airways and Qatar Airways, plus Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The celebration was held last month at the Intercontinental Regency Bahrain hotel.
