SINGAPORE and Malaysia have launched a twin city package providing regional visitors with a ‘best-of-both-worlds’ summer holiday experience for the whole family.
Following the growth in the number of Middle East visitors to both Singapore and Malaysia in the first quarter of 2009, the Singapore Tourism Board has collaborated with Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board and Singapore Airlines to offer Middle East Travellers packages starting at Dh2,590 for a five day, four night stay when booked before June 30, 2009.
The offer, valid for travel until the end of August 2009, consists of a two night stay in Singapore and another two night stay in one of Malaysia’s various holiday destinations, which includes Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Langkawi, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching.
“Given the current economic climate, Singapore and Malaysia – have created the twin city package to offer new and returning visitors extra value for their summer vacations.  Visitors to Singapore can also enjoy unbeatable bargains during the Great Singapore Sale,” said Jason Ong, area director for Middle East and Africa, Singapore Tourism Board.
The package includes return economy class airfare, five days/four nights hotel accommodation on twin sharing basis, free admission to seven major Singapore attractions, complimentary shopping vouchers in Singapore, discounts from Singapore’s shopping and dining outlets and much more.
