The hotel is close to the island’s central business district and the international airport. It has a spacious foyer, arched hallways, a majestic mirrored courtyard door and inner spaces decked with intricate carvings and ornate antique furnishings. There are 112 chic rooms and a selection of restaurants, night clubs and lounges plus banquet and conference facilities are available.
A recent addition to the hotel is Al Safir Tower next to the hotel, which offers furnished residential apartments with hotel facilities. The Tower has 71 hotel apartments, comprising 22 studios, 28 two bedroom apartments (with an option to merge the two to form a three bedroom accommodation), 16 executive suites, four penthouses and one imperial suite. The imperial suite is an extravagant two bedroom hotel penthouse with a private indoor swimming pool situated on the 14th floor.
All apartments are fully furnished to a luxurious standard. For the fitness conscious, two entire floors are dedicated to the Tower’s Sport Recreation Centre, comprising an indoor swimming pool and well equipped gym.
