Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts has appointed George Balassis as general manager of its five-star, 260-room Amman hotel.
Greek national Balassis, 42, has extensive hospitality industry experience stemming from various positions at some of the hotel chain's core European properties. He joined Radisson SAS in 1989 as income auditor at its Brussels hotel. Most recently, he was general manager of the Radisson SAS Hotel, Amsterdam Airport. Radisson SAS operates eight Middle and Near East properties.
