THE final phases of an extensive bedroom and bathroom renovation project are being carried out at The Amman Marriott Hotel, Jordan. The work will be completed by the first quarter of 2009.
The luxurious new rooms will feature the latest in cutting edge technology as well as comfortable design features made from the finest materials. Each bedroom already has a new ‘Revive’ bedding package from Marriott that features designer duvets, fluffier pillows, 300 thread count linens and ultra thick mattresses with plush toppers. All rooms will also be equipped with coffee and tea making facilities.
The new bedrooms are designed with the environment in mind, according to the hotel’s promotional literature, and will include new digitally managed, efficient air conditioning systems and energy saving light bulbs. Its new Villeroy & Bosch bathrooms will have water saving devices and upgraded power shower units that use less energy and water without compromising performance.
Every room will also be equipped with a unique jack pack technology which utilises picture in picture (PIP) functionality allowing the guest to watch television and use the TV as the laptop monitor at the same time. In addition it will also allow the guests to connect to their MP3 players and other audio/video devices.
The new rooms will also have the new swiveling desk and an ergonomic fully adjustable business chair. The LCD TV screens in the new rooms will be 32” with a swiveling base and IP features. The internet will be upgraded with new fiber optic cables allowing fast connectivity in every room.
