Lufthansa German Airlines says it is offering better onward connections in Europe and the US to passengers from the UAE and Gulf in its winter timetable with earlier arrival times in Frankfurt.
By landing in Frankfurt at 7am, passengers continuing their journey to European and North American destinations are assured of fast and easy connections, with minimum wait on ground, to over 340 destinations in 90 countries.
"Lufthansa flights now leave Abu Dhabi four times a week and Dubai seven days a week, with timings being changed to suit customers arriving in Germany for meetings or holidays as well as for those continuing on onward flights to other destinations," said Wolfgang Klaws, Lufthansa general manager, passenger sales for UAE and director for Gulf, Iran and Pakistan.
"These new arrival times also maximise our connection arrangements with the Star Alliance members."
With Star Alliance, Lufthansa offers customers over 800 destinations in more than 100 countries.
Lufthansa flights leave Abu Dhabi at 1.20am and Dubai at 2.55am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays to arrive in Frankfurt at 7am, with flights departing Frankfurt on the same days at 1.10pm and arriving in Dubai at 10.25pm and Abu Dhabi at 11.40pm.
Flights also leave Dubai on Monday, Thursday and Saturdays at 2.55pm, arriving in Frankfurt at 7am. Return flights depart on the same days from Frankfurt at 1.10pm, arriving in Dubai at 10.15pm.
